Rodrigo Lacerda is an anthropologist and film director. He has a PhD in Anthropology: Politics and Practices of Culture and Museology from NOVA FCSH and ISCTE-IUL and a Master in Anthropology, specialization in Visual Cultures, from NOVA FCSH. He is co-coordinator of CRIA's Centre for Visual Anthropology and Art (NAVA). He is also a guest assistant professor at the University of Coimbra and NOVA FCSH. He has made eight documentaries and collaborated on several film productions, including with the Visual Anthropology Laboratory of CRIA. His research focus on the relationships between indigenous cinema and heritage in Brazil.
